I've had my Z32 for 5 years now, and have had very few problems with it until recently. On the 4th of July I was driving to a family get together and my car suddenly died on the road. When I tried to start it up, it wouldn't crank over. I had it towed to a local shop where they concluded that the timing belt had shredded and most likely had bent the valves. Unfortunately I do not have the money to repair internal engine damage, nor the time to fix it myself. So the result is me selling my Z, broken engine and all. My question to the TT.net community is how much should ask for my Z? Here is some important info: Black 1990 Twin Turbo 125k miles I believe I am the 3rd owner good overall interior condition decent overall exterior condition Mods include: Turboback LaBree exhaust system Greddy Profec B II boost controller AshSpec tuned ECU various other small mods The car ran strong before this happened and had a lot of life left in it. I feel like an experienced Z owner could tear apart the engine and fix this problem without too much difficulty. I don't currently have any close up pictures of the car or interior, but I will get some when I decide to sell it. So, what would be a good price to start this car at? Sorry if the information is a little vague.
